Committed to Aviation Accident Law

Trial Lawyer Powerhouse

Some attorneys are litigators, meaning they typically settle cases rather than taking them to trial. At Katzman Lampert & Stoll we are trial lawyers. We take cases to trial whenever necessary, particularly difficult or challenging cases. Manufacturers and insurance companies know that our firm will go the distance in a legal battle, that we will take a case to trial and present the case to a jury whenever necessary to achieve the best result for our client. The partners at Katzman, Lampert & Stoll are all experienced trial attorneys.

Selecting an experienced trial lawyer is of paramount importance in a personal injury or wrongful death claim resulting from an aircraft accident. Katzman, Lampert & Stoll has a proven record of successful trials to verdict, and you can review our verdicts and judgments upon request.

Aviation Accident Investigation: Finding the Truth

Victims of an aircraft crash want to know why the aircraft crashed and what can be done to prevent another crash? We relentlessly pursue the answer to those questions. Our job is to determine the cause of an aviation disaster and obtain the maximum amount of fair and just compensation for our clients, the victims, and their families. We use the legal system to hold wrongdoers accountable for their misdeeds that cause aircraft crashes.

Why You Can’t Rely on The NTSB Investigation

You should not rely on the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) to determine the cause of a crash. The NTSB’s findings of the cause of a crash are inadmissible in a courtroom, meaning the government’s investigation, good or bad, can’t be used to assist the victims and their families seeking fair and just compensation.

Holding All Parties Accountable

While officially responsible for investigating and determining the probable cause of aviation accidents in the United States, the NTSB is often working together with the aircraft and engine manufacturers. Before the NTSB investigator leaves his or her office, they call the aircraft and engine manufacturers, whose representatives “participate” and “assist” in the government’s investigation. Through their participation as “party representatives” to most NTSB aviation accident investigations, the aircraft and engine manufacturers effectively co-op the integrity of the government’s investigation. It’s the fox watching the hen house.

Uncovering the Cause of a Crash: Our Expertise

Our law firm tirelessly runs down every lead, performs all the necessary engineering analysis and crash investigation, and whenever necessary, we will undertake flight testing to determine the cause of an accident.
